The Beach Weekend - good for the Soul

Had a fabulous weekend at the beach - stormy weather , HUGE waves, tons of birds - totally good for the soul !!!

Spent some time on the web last night checking out new papers and ribbons and bling !!!  Patti called from the store and said that the shipment of Jenni Bowlin came in.  It has the cute red music note paper, tons of butterflies and her new tag flags. AND the reorder, of the reorder, of the reorder ( not a typo !)of Graphic 45 came in too !!!

Have you signed up for the super crop April 17th - it is right around the corner and we don't want you to miss it !!!  Carole Ann will be our cook again - she LOVES cooking and sharing with everyone - My Aunt Julie will make another cake - My Mom, daughter and cousins will be prepping and setting up for us - Jodie and I are working on great give a ways - and the fabulous ladies at the store are ready to help you with your design ideas !!!

New papers from Paper Loft

Paper Loft Paper is HERE - when we were in Portland at the CKC Convention we hooked up with Marsha from  Paper Loft - we ordered three of her lines and are so excited to have them in our store.....we have heard from many of you that you like the papers so we listened and brought them in !!!  Here is one line
" Moring Rain " which is perfect for our rainy Washington weather ........look at that cute bird some of the other papers have the bird with the umbrella - too cute !!!!

Northwest Shop Hop Make and Take

Here is our make and take for those who did not take pictures today - we had a fabulous day ...... many old friends came by the store , many ladies whom we met last year and some new friends !!!   Tonya had a cricut class downstairs - the upstairs was full of customers -Sharon brought in her new puppy Sophie -  the parking lot could have used a parking attendant - the sun was out - we had primroses for the morning guests - water all day and flower packages - totally a GREAT DAY !!!

Finally Friday !!!

Okay I know I said this last week but really Finally Friday !!!  I get so excited when I get to work at the store on the weekends - this weekend is the first one with the NW Paperchase Shop Hop - cant' wait to see all the ladies from last years "hop".....we look forward to sharing our store with you !!! This is my precious Maggie Mae - who will have to be home tomorrow with Miss Miley while I work and Mackenzie is at her friends....they will enjoy the sunshine outside in the kennel !!!

Prima all over the store

Friends we have Prima flowers all over the store - Amie brought in this darling cupcake stand and we filled it with flowers !!! Don't forget we are the signature store for Simply Swank - Nanette has some fabulous classes up on the web site = check them out !!!

NEW Prima Flowers and papers are on the shelves - oooohhhh sooooo pretty !!! We have every color that Prima makes - lavendar, pink, purple, blue, peach..........Jodie has made a darling Maya Road Album into a pretty book and also made a fantastic album with chipboard - check them out when you come to the store !!

USA Hockey - Silver medal but what a game !!

We went to Seattle yesterday to celebrate two friends birthdays Happy Birthday Sue and Patty - totally great lunch and visit time at Dukes @ Southcenter.  Then to my Moms' where we watched the hockey game between Canada and USA !!! What a game - Canada came in as the favorite, Canada was predicted to win but we , as in us~ USA~ tied the game @ the 24 second mark of the third period - Canada did win in over time but what a game and the games MVP was OUR GOALIE !!!

Finally Friday !!!

HOCKEY, PAPER & so much NEW !!!

USA HOCKEY - can you believe it - USA dominated the game and beat Canada - who by the way were favored to win GOLD ....... The picture below says it all !!!  Found it on the web and just had to add it to my post today !!! I LOVE HOCKEY  - Mackenzie does too !!!  I remember when Sue, LeAnne, Patty and I all had season tickets and went to every game - even driving to Portland and up to Vancouver to watch games (that was a LONG time ago !!)
The STORE  is sparkly clean and ready for all the new product from CHA - this week we will be getting so much more - glues, papers, stickles, inks, embellishments ....... come on in and check it out !  We have a TIM HOLTZ wall that is full of his fabulous products - Bazzill Flowers have been ordered in every color they have and will be on the Bazzill wall too this week ~~~  so springtime !
ALL of the PRIMA paper and flowers have been re-ordered ( we sold out in 3 days ) and are on the shelf ~~~~Samples of fabulous page designs are all over the store ~~ New Jenni Bowlin, Sassafrass Lass & Graphic 45 will be here tis week too !!! Cosmo Cricket is at the store ohhh so cute !!!
Three new classes - Amies Children's book, Karen's Alcohol ink class and Nanettes soldering has an entire spring line up !!  Dont' forget my page of the month club - you may join at any time we would love to have you !!!  Tonya's Cricut Classes are a hit, Jodie is working on new classes, Suzanne is working on some fabulous card classes and I have some new tag classes that I am working on !!!

Just a bit about the Olympics ~~

OLYMPICS !!!  I have been a fan since we were kids - my Mom and Dad , brother and I used to watch from start to finish just like I still do with my daughter - did you see how fast the downhill skiiers were going last night - ohh my goodness.  My heart goes out to the girls who crashed - so many years of dedication and hard work.....Shawn White - that guy flew about 30 feet over the half pipe wall - fabulous !!!  Love the long red hair and his smile - the fast track skaters - Apollo and JC such tremendous concentration ........
I remember that my brother and I used to pretend we were skiiers - we even made gold medals from paper plates !!!

Heard from Cosmo Cricket that our order of new paper is on the big brown truck making it's way to the store - 2 new lines - Material Girl and Garden Variety - so spring !!!  Fabulous colors , darling just darling ~ we hope you will like it !!! Make and Take Saturday February 13th

Saturday is make and take day - Patti created a darling card which is free for you to make ( w/ minimum purchase ) and I have a 2010 Vintage Calendar for only $5.00......Amie and I are making cupcakes to share and we would love to have you join us !! Joide is hard at work planning dinner and dessert for her crop - which is sold out but we will have others so keep checking the web site !!

CKC Portland - what a blast !!

We had such a successful trip to Portland !!  We taught the fabulous exploding box class to over 90 ladies - we had such a great time , everyone finished the class project in class and we received great reviews ~~  Here are some pictures that I had to post - Thank you Kim, Suzanne, Jill and Karen for all of your help before the class an in class..Thank you Amie and Shelley for the help before our trip ..Thank you CK for a great experience and Thank you everyone for taking our class !!

Happy LOVE Month

I found this cute photo on the Becky Higgins web site today and had to share it with you. I thought about our upcoming make and take DAY and fantastic CROP on February 13th - Join us for make and takes Saturday Feb 13th 10 am to 2 pm and join Jodie for her CROP from 2 to 10 pm !!!

I also got my 365 Project Life Kit from Becky Higgins - where you document an entire year in photos and jounaling.  I was introduced to this from our friend Julile Woods - so I am late starting but do have a photo for each day in January already printed so I am ready for a late night getting January into my album - maybe I will wait until after CKC Portland - my Mom is coming down and I have to clean up my scrap space which is now my dining table and kitchen table ( and a room you cannot even go into !)
